By combining the up-cut design along with the common 45° chamfer, you can maximize your efficiency by routing one single pass. The ZrN coating creates a harder and tougher cutting ceramic over carbide edge allowing for a prolonged cutting edge life and helps to prevent the build-up/galling of material in the flutes while cutting. Combination end mill/router bits offer the flexibility to cut the radius along with the proven performance of the up-cut design for superior chip ejection.
