5" Variable Speed Random Orbit Sander

The 5" Variable-Speed Random Orbit Sander comes with a hook-and-loop pad to make changing sanding sheets simple. This random orbit sander has a powerful 3-Amp motor that delivers between 8,000 and 12,000 OPM. The separate counterweight reduces vibration while the rubber overmold grip provides comfortable sanding. A low-profile design allows users to get closer to the worksurface and the one-handed locking dust bag attaches securely to the sander to aid in dust collection, or the user can attach the sander directly to the DWV010 or DWV012 dust collectors. Features: • Dust port is designed to fit directly to the DWV010 or DWV012 dust collectors • Shorter height allows the user to get closer to the workpiece • Rubber overmold improves grip in all of the critical areas of the sander • Improved dust collection and one-handed locking dust bag • To attach the dust port to other vacuum systems with 1-1/4" hoses, use DWV9000 Universal Quick Connector • 1 Dust Bag Included Applications: • Stripping paint Drying varnish coats and lacquers Shrinking packaging and wrapping Softening adhesives and removing stickers Automotive applications Moulding and welding plastics Softening metal pipes for bending Shrinking cable ends Loosening nuts and bolts Thawing frozen water pipes • Sanding Metal • Sanding Plastics • Framing
