2-1/4 HP Plunge Router Tool Only

The 40V max XGT 2-1/4 Maximum HP Plunge Router (GPR01) delivers the power of a 2-1/4 HP corded router, with up to 30% less weight when compared to corded.

The 2-1/4 Maximum HP Plunge Router cuts up to 260 linear feet per charge using one 4.0Ah battery (battery not included). The GPR01 features a variable speed control dial with adjustments from 8,000 - 25,000 RPM, allowing the user to match the speed to the application. The electronic speed control allows the user to maintain constant speed control under load.

The Plunge Router features and on/off switch located on the trigger grip added user convenience. It is engineered with the soft start feature that allows for smoother start-ups and better accuracy. The soft brake feature allows for a more gentle stopping procedure to prevent work material from being damaged. The plunge base features up to 2-3/8" plunge capacity, allowing for fine adjustment for depth accuracy. The router features an aluminum base for increased durability and accuracy.

The GPR01 utilizes the Auto-start Wireless System (AWS), which uses Bluetooth technology to power wireless on-off communication between the tool and an equipped dust extractor and is compatible with an AWS Transmitter (part no. 198901-5, sold separately).
