- If your stud spacing is non-traditional, you may notice natural flex in the steel brackets when lining them up end-to-end. In situations where there is no stud to fasten the bracket edges to
- The United Interlock Kit (FB-11379) can be used as a pseudo stud.
- Simply align your brackets, place the Interlock Kit on top, and ensure the fastener holes in both the kit and brackets are accessible. Then, insert the connector fasteners and tighten.
- This will ensure that your brackets stay securely connected edge-to-edge, just as they would in standard wall stud construction.
