Matte Black Pull-Down Faucet for Kitchens That Mean Business
The Karran Tumba is a single-handle pull-down kitchen faucet with a dual-function spray head, finished in Matte Black. Designed for single-hole countertop or deck installations, it brings a bold, consistent look to the kitchen while handling the everyday demands of cooking, cleaning, and prep work.
Key Features
• Matte Black finish delivers a clean, design-forward look that coordinates with Karran's Matte Black sink and accessory line.
• Dual-function spray head switches between an aerated stream and a powerful spray for rinsing and cleaning tasks.
• Single-handle control adjusts both flow and temperature from one lever.
• Pull-down configuration brings the spray head directly into deep bowls and large cookware with a retractable hose.
• Single-hole mounting suits most undermount and top mount kitchen sinks with a single faucet deck drilling.
Built for Everyday Kitchen Work
The Tumba's pull-down spray head travels into the bowl on its hose, putting water exactly where it needs to go — rinsing produce, cleaning sheet pans, or filling tall pots. The dual-function head lets you switch modes mid-task without setting anything down. A 360° swivel spout covers both sides of a double-bowl sink without repositioning. Single-hole mounting keeps the deck uncluttered, and because the faucet mounts through one opening, it works whether the faucet hole is in the sink deck or drilled through the countertop.
Finish and Construction
The Matte Black finish is applied by a durable PVD process, which bonds the color to the surface rather than painting it on. The result is a finish that holds its tone under regular use. The faucet body is lead-free brass, the internal ceramic cartridge is rated to 1.5 million cycles per the manufacturer, and the nylon braided hose is color-matched to the Matte Black finish. The 26-25/32 inch overall height clears deep bowls and leaves working room beneath a low cabinet or window sill.
The Right Fit for This Finish
Matte Black is the finish choice when the hardware needs to anchor a kitchen's look without competing with it. It reads well against light countertops, white cabinetry, and open shelving alike. Cabinet shops specifying Karran quartz or stainless workstation sinks in Matte Black will find the Tumba a natural companion — same finish family, same source. Homeowners finishing a renovation and designers coordinating a kitchen package will both find the single-handle simplicity easy to specify and easier to live with.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Matte Black finish show water spots or fingerprints?
The PVD Matte Black finish resists fingerprints better than a polished surface, but it is not spot-free. If spot resistance is the priority, Karran also offers this line in Spot Free Stainless Steel and other Spot Free finishes. For Matte Black, a quick wipe keeps the surface clean.
How many holes does this faucet require?
One. The Tumba mounts through a single hole in the sink deck or countertop. If your sink has multiple pre-drilled holes, a deck plate can cover the unused openings — though the Tumba itself does not include one, so order separately if needed.
What is the difference between a pull-down and a pull-out faucet?
A pull-down head draws downward from the spout into the bowl. A pull-out head draws outward toward the user from the faucet body. The Tumba is a pull-down design, which works best with deeper bowls where vertical reach matters.
Are supply lines included?
Mounting hardware is included. Confirm supply line inclusion from the spec sheet or the box contents for this SKU before ordering additional hardware.
