The Flush Mount Drill bit System incorporates a unique ball bearing stop collar that controls the recess depth created by the drill. This bearing system allows the stop collar to stop spinning when it comes in contact with the surface you're drilling, preventing the surface from being marred. In the time it takes to drill a single hole, the Micro Flush Mount bit creates a pilot hole with a 9/16" recess at any depth.
