3M• Cloth Belt 970DZ is a best-in-class heavy cloth belt constructed of high-performing ceramic abrasive grain and designed for medium grade operations on wide belt or edge sanders. Applications include dimensioning and stock removal. The exceptionally fast cut and long life of ceramic grain make it ideal for high production environments.

• Ceramic abrasive grain lasts longer and cuts faster than aluminum oxide and performs well on all wood types
• Open coat construction and anti-static treatment reduce loading for enhanced cut-rate and longer belt life
• Heavy weight cloth backing offers durability for coarser grades and is especially suited to wide belt and edge sanding
• Washable backing is suitable for sanding wood with a lot of pitch/resin (belts load quickly) such as pine
