The Milesi Kromopastel water base pigment pastes in Orange have some particular properties that make it very effective in getting beautiful rich color on wood. First, the pigments are semi-transparent as opposed to opaque, so they color wood while still letting light pass through them and down to the wood's surface. This makes it possible to unify the wood's color while minimizing the masking of the natural characteristics of the wood.
