A Matte Black Pull-Down Faucet Built for the Demands of a Working Kitchen
The Karran Kentland is a single-handle pull-down kitchen faucet with a dual-function spray head, finished in Matte Black. It mounts through a single deck or countertop hole and pairs cleanly with dark hardware schemes, quartz composite sinks, and matte-finish accessories throughout the kitchen.
Key Features
• Dual-function spray head switches between an aerated stream and a powerful spray for rinsing and cleaning.
• Pull-down retractable hose brings the spray head into the bowl and docks back at the spout.
• Single-hole mounting fits a single countertop or deck drilling, with mounting hardware included.
• Single lever control manages both flow rate and water temperature with one hand.
• Matte Black PVD finish coordinates with dark hardware and matte-finish kitchen accessories.
• Ceramic cartridge rated by the manufacturer to 1.5 million cycles for long-term reliable operation.
Where the Kentland Works Best
The pull-down configuration and dual-function head make this faucet well suited to deeper kitchen sinks, including Karran's quartz composite and stainless undermount bowls where extra reach into the basin matters. The aerated stream handles everyday fill tasks, while the spray mode has the pressure to clear debris from prep surfaces and rinse produce or cookware without standing water building up in the bowl. The 360° swivel spout covers a double-bowl layout as easily as a single-bowl setup, so the faucet serves wherever the work is happening at that moment.
Designers specifying a fully coordinated dark kitchen will find the Matte Black finish a straightforward match across pull knobs, cabinet hardware, and sink accessories. Cabinet shops and contractors building out kitchen installations can pair it with Karran sink SKUs in the same finish family without extra finish-matching work at the job site.
Finish, Materials, and Construction
The Kentland's Matte Black finish is applied by PVD, the same durable process used across Karran's kitchen faucet line. Lead-free brass is the stated body material on the specification sheet. The pull-down hose is nylon braided and color-matched to the faucet's finish. Inside, the ceramic cartridge is rated to 1.5 million cycles, a manufacturer-published figure that reflects the valve's expected operational life under normal use. Mounting hardware and hot and cold water supply lines are included with the faucet.
Who This Faucet Is For
Homeowners renovating a kitchen around a dark or matte hardware palette will find the Kentland a clean fit without the compromise of a satin or chrome finish standing out in the wrong way. Designers specifying coordinated packages across a full kitchen can call it out confidently against Karran sink and accessory SKUs in the same color family. Kitchen installers and contractors working through multiple cabinet installations will appreciate the single-hole mount and the included hardware, which keeps the rough-in straightforward. The dual-function head and retractable hose add enough utility that the faucet works as well in a production kitchen as it does in a residential renovation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the spray head retract and lock back into position automatically?
The Kentland uses a retractable pull-down hose — the spray head returns to the spout after use. Check the specification sheet for the docking mechanism details on this model.
How many countertop holes does this faucet need?
It installs through a single hole. If your sink or countertop has additional pre-drilled holes, a deck plate can cover them, though a deck plate is not listed as included and would be a separate purchase.
Will this faucet fit over a deep farmhouse or undermount bowl?
The pull-down hose and retractable head are designed to reach into deep bowls. The overall height of 15 inches gives the spout enough clearance for most kitchen sink configurations, including deeper quartz composite and stainless bowls.
Is a soap dispenser included, or sold separately?
A coordinating soap dispenser is not included with this faucet. Karran offers matching SD25 and SD35 dispensers in Matte Black for a coordinated look at the sink.
Ready to Work the Moment It Goes In
The Kentland Matte Black delivers a faucet with the reach, spray versatility, and finish coordination to close out a kitchen project cleanly, without chasing down additional finish-matching hardware after the fact.
