The Heavy Duty Mantel support brackets in 0.375" steel are powdercoated flat black for an attractive minimalist support. Available for 6x6 or 8x8 beams, 4 countersunk holes tie into the rock or stud wall for a secure structure to last the lifetime of your fireplace. The is 5" wide and should be spaced no more than 30" apart for your mantel support. Our Mantel Brackets are designed to provide the strength that comes from 3/8" metal bracket. The carrying capacity of the Mantel Brackets is 750 lbs per pair. Each mantel bracket has 4-1/4" countersunk holes on the back flange.
