4-1/2" x 8" Stud Mount Mantel Rod, Steel Finish

When floating or supporting a heavy mantel it is important that your bracket provide more than adequate carrying strength and a secure connection with your support structure. The Stud Mounted Mantel Rod is made of heavy duty steel construction and as a structural bracket it locks tightly to the side of your wall studs. This mantel bracket is designed for optimal support and complete invisibility behind your wood beam or box style mantel. The support arm of our Stud Mounted Mantel Rod is a sturdy 3/4" steel rod which extends out from the mounting plate by 8". The mantel support rod is thoroughly welded to a 1/4" thick mounting plate for fixing the mantel bracket to your studs.
