8" x 2" Stud Mount Shelf Bracket, Steel Finish

Floating shelf support brackets in a stud mount format allow for a thinner profile floating shelf. Stud Mounted Shelf Brackets come in two lengths for varying depths of floating shelves. The 0.875" bracket arm has a flat mounting plate that is 2" x 2" or 2" x 4" and attaches to the side of the stud. Installation should be every 16" for the length of your shelf. Each bracket will have a carrying capacity of 100lbs. The shelf must not be more than 2" deeper than the end of the bracket to avoid seeing deflection.
