12" x 4" Stud Mount Shelf Rod, Steel Finish

Floating shelf support rods in a stud mount format allow for a thinner profile floating shelf. floating shelf support rods come in two lengths for varying depths of floating shelves. The 0.50" rod arm is attached to a .25" thick mounting plate. Installation should be every 16" for the length of your shelf. Each rod will have a carrying capacity of 100lbs. The shelf must not be more than 2" deeper than the end of the rod to avoid seeing deflection.
The Stud Mounted Shelf Rod comes to you in a raw steel finish. Please keep in mind that raw steel will corrode over time if not painted. Holes are 1/4". The mounting plate itself is 4" high and 2" deep. The floating shelf rods have a 100-pound carry capacity and we recommend not to exceed this weight to avoid seeing any deflection in your installation.
