8" x 14" Low Profile Floating Shelf Bracket, Black Finish

The Low profile floating shelf bracket provides sturdy support with a shorter floating shelf profile. This floating shelf bracket is designed to carry up to 50 pounds of distributed load while having an overall height of under 1" so that a shelf box profile may be more sleek and narrow than a box built around standard 2x4 framing. The Bracket includes an exterior "U" shaped support member that fastens to the wall using 1" slots cut into the back flange of the shelf bracket, and a cross rib member is used to tie the support arms of this exterior bracket together to provide increased strength and resistance to deflection. The resulting shelf bracket offers superior support in a low profile format.

The Low profile floating shelf bracket is available in a powder coated gloss black finish and includes screws to attach the inner rib. Slots are provided for adjusting the placement as needed and are spaced 16" on center.
