Gunmetal Gray Vessel Faucet for Above-Counter Bowl Installations
The Karran Vineyard is a single-handle, single-hole vessel bathroom faucet designed to pair with above-counter bowls, and it ships with a matching Gunmetal Gray pop-up drain so the finish coordination is already handled. The tall spout profile clears the rim of a vessel sink, and the streamlined single-lever design keeps the vanity surface clean and uncluttered.
Key Features
• Vessel-height spout clears the rim of an above-counter bowl without the faucet competing with the sink for visual space.
• Single-handle lever controls both flow and temperature from one intuitive point of contact.
• Single-hole deck mount installs through one drilled opening in the countertop or vanity top.
• Matching Gunmetal Gray pop-up drain included so the drain finish coordinates with the faucet out of the box.
• Gunmetal Gray finish delivers a dark, muted tone that reads equally well against light stone and dark wood vanity tops.
Designed Around the Vessel Sink Workflow
Vessel sinks sit above the counter, which raises the bowl rim and demands a taller faucet to avoid an awkward, low-angled pour. The Vineyard's spout height is built for exactly that relationship, positioning the water outlet comfortably above the bowl without the faucet towering over the fixture. The single-hole footprint means the countertop needs only one drilled opening, which keeps fabrication straightforward whether the vanity top is quartz, solid surface, or wood.
The pop-up drain included with this SKU is sized and finished to match. Because the drain ships in the same Gunmetal Gray, there is no secondary search for a coordinating component — both pieces arrive together and install as a unit.
Finish and Material
Gunmetal Gray occupies a specific band of the finish spectrum: darker than brushed nickel, cooler than bronze, and more textured in appearance than flat matte black. On a vanity with warm wood tones or veined stone, it reads as a grounding accent rather than a stark contrast. The finish is applied over lead-free brass construction, which is standard across Karran's faucet line and a practical note for installations where material composition matters.
The Gunmetal Gray pop-up drain carries the same named finish, so there is no risk of a slight tone mismatch between two separately sourced components — both come from the same production spec.
Where This Faucet Fits Best
This is the right choice for a bathroom vanity where the sink sits above the counter and the deck has a single drilled hole. Designers specifying a vessel bowl in a moody, material-forward bathroom will find the Gunmetal Gray tone fits naturally alongside matte hardware, dark plumbing fixtures, and textured surfaces. Homeowners replacing an existing vessel faucet get a single-hole swap with the drain already sorted. Cabinet shops building a vanity from scratch can spec the faucet and drain together and hand both off to the plumber in one package.
This faucet is intended for deck-mount vessel installations. It is not suited for undermount or top mount bowl pairings, where the spout height would be disproportionate to the bowl depth, and it is not a wall-mount configuration.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the included pop-up drain work with sinks that have an overflow?
The source data does not specify whether the included drain is the overflow or without-overflow version. Confirm with the product spec sheet or customer service before ordering if your vessel bowl has an integral overflow channel, so the drain pairing is correct.
Will this faucet work on a countertop that is thicker than average?
Maximum deck thickness is a spec-sheet value that varies by model. Check the Karran Vineyard specification sheet for the KBF472GG's stated maximum before ordering for a built-up or thick-stone vanity top.
Is Gunmetal Gray the same finish as Matte Black?
No. Gunmetal Gray and Matte Black are distinct catalog finishes. Gunmetal Gray has a slightly cooler, metallic quality compared to the flat, absorbed look of Matte Black. Match finish names exactly when coordinating with other hardware.
Are supply lines included?
Supply line inclusion is not confirmed in the available product data for this SKU. Review the specification sheet or product packaging details to confirm what ships in the box before purchase.
One Finish Decision, Fully Resolved
The Vineyard in Gunmetal Gray handles the faucet-and-drain coordination in a single order, so the vanity comes together with consistent hardware from the start rather than a last-minute finish-matching scramble.
