The Blakeney Countertop Post Support for elevated countertops is made of round steel tube with a 5" height. A serving bar of 12" depth can be supported with the Blakeney Post Support by Federal Brace. The Blakeney post support has a 300 pound capacity for holding granite, quartz, or other other stone on the elevated counter. Countertop Post Supports are designed to be mounted on the surface of a countertop and elevate a shelf or bar. The thick steel material is designed to support the heaviest and thickest glass, granite, and engineered stone. Countertop Post Supports are considered a specialty installation as you will need to have a professional pre-drill holes in your granite or other stone material surfaces. We recommend having no more than 4" of unsupported countertop past each side of the brackets top plate.
