Karran Weybridge Pull-Down Faucet For a Classic Chrome Kitchen
The Karran Weybridge is a single-handle pull-down kitchen faucet that brings a clean, enduring Chrome finish to any sink installation. Designed for single-hole mounting, it delivers precise flow and temperature control through one lever and a dual-function spray head that handles everything from rinsing produce to washing down the bowl.
Key Features
• Dual-function spray head toggles between an aerated stream and a powerful spray for everyday kitchen tasks.
• Pull-down retractable hose extends the spray head into deep bowls and returns to dock at the spout.
• Single-handle control adjusts both water flow and temperature with one lever.
• Single-hole mounting fits most standard kitchen sinks and countertop drillings.
• Chrome finish delivers a bright, polished look that pairs with a wide range of hardware and fixtures.
• Lead-free brass construction meets material requirements for potable water applications.
Built for the Demands of the Kitchen Sink
Chrome is the workhorse finish of the kitchen — familiar in commercial prep environments and just as at home in residential cabinetry shops finishing out a new install. The Weybridge's pull-down spray head reaches across a wide bowl, handles the corners of a farmhouse sink, and returns cleanly to its docked position. The dual-function head makes the switch between a controlled stream for filling pots and a broader spray for scrubbing a simple lever press. The 14-13/16 inch overall height suits most standard sink and countertop setups, clearing the deck without crowding under cabinets or a window sill.
Chrome Finish on a Proven Construction
The faucet body is lead-free brass, a reliable base that holds the Chrome PVD finish without the premature wear that plated zinc can produce over time. Chrome's reflective surface picks up its surroundings, which makes it the natural coordination choice when the rest of the kitchen hardware — pulls, hinges, or drain trim — is also Chrome or polished nickel. The ceramic cartridge, rated to 1.5 million cycles per Karran's specification tables, keeps the lever action consistent long after install. The nylon braided spray hose is color-matched to the Chrome finish, so nothing looks afterthought.
Who This Fits and Where It Works
The Weybridge in Chrome is a practical choice for cabinet shops and contractors finishing out a kitchen where the client has specified traditional or transitional hardware. It is equally straightforward for a homeowner replacing an existing single-hole faucet in a Chrome kitchen without a full hardware swap. The single-hole installation requires no deck plate, and mounting hardware and hot and cold water lines are included per the Karran spec sheet, so the installer has what they need without a separate hardware run. Designers coordinating a white or light quartz kitchen will find the Chrome reads clean alongside Karran's White or Grey quartz bowls.
Frequently Asked Questions
What countertop or sink materials does this faucet work with?
The Weybridge mounts through a single hole in the sink deck or countertop, so it is compatible with any material that can be drilled to spec — stone, quartz, solid surface, laminate, or a sink with a pre-drilled faucet deck. If your sink has no faucet deck, the faucet mounts through the countertop instead.
Is the spray head magnetic-docking or weight-retractable?
The Karran spec sheet identifies this as a retractable hose pull-down. The head docks back at the spout after use. Docking mechanism details beyond retractable are not specified in the manufacturer's documentation.
Does this faucet include supply lines?
Yes. Per the Karran spec sheet, mounting hardware and hot and cold water lines ship with the faucet.
How does Chrome compare to Spot Free Stainless Steel in daily use?
Chrome has a brighter, more reflective look and is a natural match for polished or chrome-toned hardware. It shows water spots more readily than Spot Free finishes, so kitchens with hard water may require more frequent wiping. If fingerprint and spot resistance is the priority, the Weybridge is also available in Spot Free Stainless Steel.
Can this faucet be used with a soap dispenser?
A soap dispenser is not included with this faucet. Karran's SD25 and SD35 soap dispensers are available in coordinating finishes as optional accessories and mount through a separate deck or countertop hole.
A Chrome Standard That Holds Up to the Work
The Weybridge in Chrome does what a kitchen faucet is supposed to do — controls flow, switches spray patterns, and reaches where it needs to — in a finish that stays relevant across traditional, transitional, and contemporary kitchen styles.
