Warm-Toned Quartz Construction, Drop-In Convenience
The Karran QT-671 is a quartz composite top mount kitchen sink in a 25-inch single-bowl format, finished in Bisque. It installs from above into the countertop cutout across all standard countertop materials, making it a practical choice for both new builds and replacement projects where the Bisque tone needs to carry through the room.
Key Features
• Quartz composite construction blends 80% natural quartz with 20% acrylic resin for a surface that resists scratches, stains, chips, and heat through daily kitchen use.
• Top mount installation drops the sink into a countertop cutout from above, with the rim resting on the counter surface and securing with clips from below.
• Single-bowl layout provides an uninterrupted 25-inch basin with a 9-inch depth, leaving the full interior open for large cookware and prep work.
• Bisque finish is a warm off-white tone that coordinates with cream, ivory, and earth-toned kitchen palettes without the starkness of bright white.
• Compatible with all countertop materials including laminate, solid surface, stone, and quartz, so the top mount method does not restrict countertop choice.
Where the QT-671 Fits the Job
A 25-inch sink occupies a compact footprint without sacrificing bowl depth, which makes the QT-671 a natural fit for kitchens built around a 30-inch sink base or where counter run is limited but washing capacity matters. It handles a renovation into an existing laminate counter just as well as a brand-new build: because the rim covers the cut edge, the top mount method tolerates a standard jigsaw cutout without edge finishing. Homeowners updating a kitchen built around bisque or almond appliances will find the color match straightforward, and cabinet shops specifying sink packages for those interiors can source the material and the sink from the same order.
Quartz Composite at Work
The 80% quartz content gives this bowl a dense, stone-like feel that absorbs impact without transmitting it as sound the way a thin stainless shell would. The acrylic resin binder is homogeneous through the material, so minor surface abrasions do not expose a different color or texture underneath. Karran describes the quartz composite as highly scratch, stain, chip, and heat resistant, which reflects the durability profile of a kitchen surface that will take cast iron, boiling water, and daily cleaning over its service life. The Bisque color runs through the full material depth rather than sitting as a surface coat, keeping the appearance stable over years of use.
The Right Sink for This Kitchen
This sink suits homeowners who want a quartz bowl in a warm, neutral tone and need the installation flexibility that a drop-in provides. It also works well for a kitchen remodel where pulling and replacing a countertop is not in scope: the top mount approach fits into the existing surface without requiring edge work beyond the cutout itself. For a cabinet shop or contractor building out a kitchen spec that calls for Bisque throughout, the QT-671 resolves the sink selection without a finish compromise.
Can the QT-671 be installed in a laminate countertop?
Yes. Top mount sinks are compatible with laminate, solid surface, stone, and quartz countertops. The rim rests on the surface and the clips secure from below, so the method works across all of those materials without any special edge finishing at the cutout.
What is the minimum cabinet size this sink requires?
The sink's overall footprint is 25 by 22 inches. Confirm the minimum cabinet size against your cabinet spec before ordering; the sink's overall width is the starting point for that calculation, but the manufacturer's published minimum cabinet size is the governing number.
Does the sink ship with a drain or mounting hardware?
This listing is for the sink only. A basket strainer drain and mounting clips are purchased separately. Confirm those items are in your order before scheduling the countertop cutout.
How does Bisque differ from White in Karran's quartz line?
Bisque is a warm off-white with cream undertones, while White (WH) is a brighter, cooler tone. Bisque coordinates with almond, ivory, and earth-toned palettes and is the better match for kitchens with similarly toned appliances or cabinetry.
Is this sink suitable for outdoor use?
No. This is an indoor kitchen sink. It is not rated for exterior installation.
A Quartz Bowl Built for the Long Run
The QT-671 brings quartz composite durability and a warm Bisque finish into a compact, installer-friendly top mount format, so the sink fits the counter, the cabinet, and the color story without asking for special fabrication work.
