Will a 35 QT unit fit a 15-inch cabinet?
Yes. RV53WC-1835SCDM217 and RV4WCSC-1835DM are both built for a 15" cabinet opening. The 50 QT units need 15-1/2".
What is the difference between under-mount and door-mount?
Under-mount units ride on soft-closing progressive roller slides beneath the drawer box and use patented door-mount brackets so the bin travels with the door. The door-mount RV4WCSC pullouts carry the bin on Blum MOVENTO full-extension concealed slides, for a heavier load and a softer close.
Do I need to buy slides separately?
No. Slides are included with every unit on this page.
How much clearance does a pullout need behind the door?
Allow for the door thickness plus the bracket. The door-mount RV4WCSC pullouts run Blum MOVENTO full-extension slides, so the bin clears the cabinet face entirely when open; under-mount units travel with the door on patented brackets.
Can these be retrofitted into an existing cabinet?
Yes, provided the opening matches. Measure the clear opening width rather than the cabinet's nominal size, because face frames and hinges reduce it. That measurement is what the 15 inch and 15-1/2 inch models refer to.
