A Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet Built for High-Volume Work Surfaces
The Karran Bluffton is a single-handle pull-down kitchen faucet designed for kitchens where the sink gets used hard. Its retractable spray head delivers two selectable water patterns, and its single-lever control manages both flow and temperature from one point. Stainless Steel finish pairs cleanly with stainless sink bowls and coordinates with the Karran SD25 or SD35 soap dispensers in the same finish family.

Where This Faucet Fits the Work
The Bluffton's pull-down configuration earns its place at a primary kitchen sink that handles a mix of tasks in the same session. The dual-function head switches on the fly between a directed stream for filling and a spray pattern that clears the bowl efficiently. For a cabinet shop kitchen, a residential renovation install, or a multi-purpose prep sink where the user is moving between filling, rinsing, and washing, the ability to redirect the spray head into the basin without moving the body is a practical daily advantage. The 360° swivel spout extends that reach across double-bowl sinks, covering both basins from a single mounting point.
Materials, Finish, and Long-Term Performance
The faucet body is lead-free brass, finished in Stainless Steel by a durable PVD process. PVD bonding produces a finish that holds up under the friction and moisture of regular daily use without the peeling or flaking associated with plated finishes. The Stainless Steel finish reads as a warm brushed tone that coordinates naturally with stainless sink bowls — particularly Karran's stainless undermount and top-mount lines — without requiring an exact finish match across dissimilar materials. The ceramic cartridge at the heart of the valve is rated by the manufacturer to 1.5 million cycles, providing a long service window before any maintenance is expected.
Right for Renovation, Reliable for Volume Installs
Homeowners completing a kitchen remodel benefit from the Bluffton's clean profile and the included mounting hardware, which keeps the install self-contained. Designers specifying faucets for multiple kitchens in a project will find the Stainless Steel finish an easy coordinate with a wide range of sink materials and countertop palettes. For cabinet shops and contractors supplying kitchen packages, the consistent spec across this line — single hole, lead-free brass, ceramic cartridge, PVD finish — means fewer variables to track across a run of similar installs. Mounting hardware and hot and cold water lines ship with the faucet.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the spray head retract automatically or does it need to be pushed back into place?
The Bluffton uses a retractable hose that guides the spray head back to its docked position at the spout after use. It is not a magnetic-docking or weighted-counterbalance system unless the source confirms that; the head returns along the hose path.
What are the two spray functions on the dual-function head?
The spray head switches between an aerated stream for filling and general flow, and a spray pattern for rinsing and cleaning tasks. There is no pause or boost function beyond these two modes.
Will this faucet work with my existing single-hole countertop drilling?
Yes. The Bluffton is designed for single-hole installation. If the countertop or sink deck already has a single hole, the faucet mounts directly using the included hardware.
Is the Stainless Steel finish on this faucet the same as Karran's Spot Free Stainless Steel?
No. This model is listed in Stainless Steel finish, which is a separate catalog finish from Spot Free Stainless Steel. Spot Free variants are listed separately. Confirm the finish code before pairing with other fixtures.
Is a soap dispenser included with this faucet?
No. Soap dispensers are sold separately. The Karran SD25 and SD35 dispensers are available in coordinating finishes and can be ordered alongside the faucet.
A Faucet Spec That Holds Across the Job
The Bluffton delivers a straightforward, consistent set of specs — pull-down dual-function head, single-lever control, lead-free brass, ceramic cartridge, PVD Stainless Steel finish — that works for a single kitchen remodel or across a run of production installs without variation to manage.
