A Two-Tone Statement Faucet for Kitchens That Demand Both Edge and Warmth
The Karran Scottsdale KKF210MBBG is a single-handle pull-down sprayer kitchen faucet finished in a Matte Black and Brushed Gold two-tone combination. It pairs a dark matte body with warm gold accents, making it the right call wherever a kitchen needs a focal point at the sink without sacrificing everyday functionality.
Key Features
• Matte Black/Brushed Gold two-tone finish: A bold pairing that grounds the dark matte body with warm brushed gold detailing throughout.
• Pull-down spray head: The head extends into the bowl on a nylon braided hose for direct, controlled rinsing and cleaning.
• Dual-function spray: Switches between an aerated stream for filling and a powerful spray mode for tougher rinsing tasks.
• Single-lever control: One handle manages both water flow and temperature with a single motion.
• Single-hole mounting: Installs through one deck or countertop hole; mounting hardware and hot and cold water lines are included.
• Ceramic cartridge: Rated to 1.5 million cycles by the manufacturer for long-term reliable operation.
Designed for Kitchens Where the Faucet Is Part of the Design
A two-tone finish like Matte Black/Brushed Gold works hardest in kitchens where the hardware tells a story. Paired with black stainless appliances and brushed gold cabinet pulls, or set against a quartz countertop in a warm neutral, this faucet reads as intentional rather than incidental. The pull-down head keeps the spout profile clean when not in use, which matters when the faucet is visible from an adjacent living or dining area. The dual-function spray head earns its keep during prep and cleanup: the aerated stream fills pots without splash, and the spray mode handles produce rinsing and pan rinsing without switching tools.
Finish, Materials, and Construction
The Scottsdale line is built on a lead-free brass body with a durable PVD finish. PVD application gives the Matte Black and Brushed Gold surfaces their depth and consistency, and produces a result that holds up better to daily handling than painted or plated alternatives. The spray head hose is nylon braided, with braid coloring matched to the faucet's finish family. The ceramic cartridge is rated to 1.5 million cycles, a figure that reflects the valve's expected service life under normal residential use. Single-hole mounting is the standard configuration across this line, and all necessary mounting hardware and supply lines ship with the faucet.
Who This Faucet Is For
Designers specifying kitchen hardware for a renovation project will find the Matte Black/Brushed Gold finish coordinates cleanly with the growing range of two-tone and mixed-metal kitchen schemes. Cabinet shops installing sinks and faucets as part of a complete kitchen package can pull this model when a client's finish plan calls for a dark-warm combination. Homeowners finishing a kitchen remodel who want a pull-down faucet with real visual presence — without stepping into a fully custom fixture — will find the Scottsdale sits in a useful middle ground between utility and style.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Brushed Gold in this finish match Karran's Brushed Gold single-finish faucets and accessories?
The Brushed Gold tone in this two-tone combination is drawn from the same finish family as Karran's standard Brushed Gold models, but exact finish-to-finish matching across different SKUs and product types is never guaranteed. Order samples or review the finish in person before specifying across multiple items.
Is a deck plate included for sinks with three pre-drilled holes?
The Scottsdale KKF210MBBG is a single-hole faucet. No deck plate is included or referenced in the source documentation. If your sink has multiple pre-drilled holes, a separately sourced deck plate would be needed to cover the unused openings.
What is included in the box?
The faucet ships with mounting hardware and hot and cold water supply lines. No soap dispenser or other accessory is included.
Does this faucet work with a Karran undermount sink that has no faucet deck?
Yes. Because the Scottsdale mounts through a single countertop hole, it installs directly through the counter on sinks that have no faucet deck, which is the standard configuration on Karran QU undermount models.
A Faucet That Works as Hard as It Looks
The Scottsdale Matte Black/Brushed Gold brings a deliberate two-tone finish to a fully functional pull-down platform, so kitchens that care about the details at the sink don't have to choose between appearance and daily performance.
